Hey guys. I know I mentioned this late last year about taking a break from web design. And I think I'm reaching the point where I really need to take this break.
I honestly don't want a future in web development. It's nothing personal towards anyone or any client, I just never intended this to be a part of my life the way it is. This was supposed to be just a "hobby"...not a career choice. But somewhere down the line, I ended up having "web designer" attached to my name.
My love for design is targeted more towards print-related work. That's what I'm most passionate about. I do enjoy building websites but my knowledge for it is really limited and I can't keep up with all these advances in the web development world (especially now with mobile internet). And it has nothing to do with learning all of this stuff -- I just simply don't have interest in it, well the development part at least. I just love to make things look nice; giving things a better visual appeal.
I'm not sure where life's gonna take me, but for now,
I'm no longer going to be taking in any new requests for websites.

So this blog has been long overdue. I just never got around to posting it. Anyways, I've been designing for Lara and her clothing store, TheLook, that opened late last year in Kona, HI. I've designed pretty much everything starting from the logo, to all the advertisements and flyers as well as TheLook's website. It's really exciting for me when I get to help new businesses grow.
